A good-natured finger-picking guitar player, Anderson played for around 30 eld as part of a practice of medicine show. He did make a couple of sides for Columbia in the late '20s with Simmie Dooley, but otherwise didn't record until a 1950 academic session, the results of which were issued on a Riverside LP that as well included tracks by Gary Davis. Anderson went on to make some albums on his own after the blues revivification commenced in the early '60s, establishing him as a nonaged only worthy advocator of the Pidemont school, versed in blues, ragtime, and sept songs. Anderson as well became an unusual footer in sway history when Syd Barrett, a young man in Cambridge, England, combined Pink's low gear call with the number one name of some other unnoticeable bluesman (Floyd Council) to diagnose his john Rock grouping, Pink Floyd, in the mid-'60s.

Girls throw themselves at us

AUDIO BULLYS superstar SIMON FRANKS has revealed girls try to bed him - even
if they've never heard of his band.

The lyricist is lucky enough to get the best of both worlds, walking down the
street without being mobbed but having an influx of female attention at his
gigs.

Simon said: "Girls do come up to the DJ box. I think we'd be doing
something wrong if people weren't.

"They come and chat to us and hover around, even if they don't know who
we are.

"We know what they're after, but it's the quirk of the job."

And if adoration from the opposite sex doesn't float his boat, having a few
tipples before the show can titilate him.

He said: "I'll often have a few before I go onstage. I'm not strict with
myself.

"Sometimes it's good to feel focused, but if everyone else is under the
influence you want to be on their wavelength.

"Imagine standing there when everyone else is wasted around you apart
from you."

After reaching No. 3 in the UK charts with their 2005 hit Shot You Down, the
boys have gone from strength to strength but Simon is determined to stay
grounded.

He said: "I realise how lucky I am. It all went crazy after that song was
released and it became a worldwide hit.

"I was out with a friend the other night who also works in the music
industry and we were chatting about how amazing our jobs are. I love it. I
wouldn't change it for the world."

But with success comes touring and with touring comes time away from home.

Simon revealed there were moments of gigging the world that left him pining
for the UK.

He said: "There have definitely moments of, 'S**t! I wanna go home.'

"It's a long time to spend away with just one other dude (bandmate TOM
DINSDALE).

"But on the bright side, seeing people dance to your tunes is the best
feeling. It's a brilliant buzz.

"I used to be into graffiti and it's a similar feeling."

So what's next for the twosome who seem to have conquered the global charts?

"We've got hundreds of songs to dig up that have been sitting around and
never seen the light of day.

"I want to get out there and meet people in the fashion world, the art
world, the film world. Being on a film soundtrack would be a great avenue."
